Sweet Wines (8): Very sweet Germany #1

We return here to the great Riesling wines with a selection of Beerenausele (selected harvest grapes) that pack a punch.
That this is made from a “selected harvest grapes” is clear as soon as it is poured into a glass. The sugar residue seems to shape the structure of these wines in an unequivocal way. The density of the sugar has become absolute and the color has become a bold golden yellow and everything seems to be more concentrated, from the aromas to the flavors. What is most amazing about these wines is the great freshness that emerges despite all the sweetness. The majority of grapes used have been attack by botrytis cinerea (noble rot) offering a great spectrum of sensations.
