A rosé made from only Negroamaro grapes in stainless steel that has a cherry-red color. Its bouquet has floral and fruity nuances with sensations of pomegranate and red fruits. The fresh and inviting mouthfeel is very consistent with the aroma with a slight salinity and a nice finish.
There is also a “Controcorrente” (maverick) version, vintage 2013, that the estate had sit in the vat for two years in order to demonstrate how the wine maintained its drinkability and potential when aged a little longer. In fact, this wine still had a nice freshness along with a more evolved notes of beeswax, pastry and wilted flowers.
