A blend of 50% Corvina, 25% Corvinone and 25% Rondinella that aged for a year in tonneau barrels and three years on 35-70hl Slavonian oak barrels. The wine has a nicely intact and bright ruby color and a complex aroma with notes of candied fruit, a touch of underbrush, a vein of kirsch and a toasted hint. This is followed by sensations of slightly jammy red fruit and blood orange. The mouthfeel is elegant and progressive, not muscular but with balanced tannins as well as a nice acidity considering its age. The finish is consistent with a return of cherries preserved under spirits.
