Made from the Coda di Cavallo (Horse’s Tail) Aglianico clone and matured in 25-50hl barrels. The wine has a ruby-garnet color and an aroma of Marasca cherry followed by notes of blueberry, pepper, bark and mint. The mouthfeel is composed, fresh and salty with tannins that are barely noticeable and a wrapping and long finish. A lovely, refined Taurasi with a traditional imprint. Bottles produced: 1,500.
