A blend of 55% Chardonnay, 30% Trebbiano and 15% Malvasia grapes selected from the best grapes produced by cooperative members. The grapes are vinified separately in stainless steel and under controlled temperatures after being soft-pressed. After blending the wine ages for six months on the lees with frequent battonnage or paddling.
The wine has a straw-yellow color and an aroma of white fruit, Williams pear, peach and gooseberry along with notes of Mediterranean brush and sage. The mouthfeel is fresh, almost crispy, saline and with a medium body and almonds in the finish.
This is a ready-to-drink wine to enjoy on hot summer’s day with shellfish or some nice creamy, fresh cheese.
