Not as bold as the ‘89 but with an almost incredible freshness and tonicity for an almost 33-year-old wine. Here again there is an explosion of spice and wilted flowers that usher in a juicy, taut, almost austere yet intact mouthfeel that is harmonious and has great progression towards a deep and vibrant finish.
