Verdicchio di Matelica 2016

Made from Verdicchio grapes and aged in stainless steel. The wine has a light and very luminous straw-yellow color and after a slightly spicy attack the nose opens to notes of flint, fresh almond and hawthorn. The mouthfeel is light yet incisive and very agile with its juicy acidity and citrusy finish. The wine is more than likely to improve over the next five years. A rare example of a Verdicchio that should not be consumed chilled but cold.
