Colpaola, a novelty from Matelica

A Matelica Verdicchio that is light yet incisive to the palate from Colpaola, an almost mountain estate that sits at an altitude of 650m above sea level.
There is a new, lovely novelty from Matelica. The Colpaolo estate is situated in Braccano, on the eastern side of the appellation, at an altitude of almost 650m above sea level, and produces a Verdicchio wine that stands out for the luminosity of its structure (essential yet not thin) and the purity of its floral-smoky note.
The wine is a hypothetical blend of the zone of Serra de’ Conti, which faces Arcevia, in regard to the palate, and Bisci for its aromas. The estate is owned by the Porcarelli family, which has decided to expand their vineyards, and will certainly be making news in the future.
