A 100% Chardonnay wine made with grapes grown in a clay soil and that ages briefly in barriques and tonneau barrels. Although the year was not a great one, this is an interesting wine with a fine bouquet that has notes of olive, is slightly balsamic and has a hint of pineapple. The mouthfeel is upheld by the acidity and a savory vein that makes this surprisingly drinkable.
