    100% Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo), fermented in stainless steel vats and aged for 12 months in oak barrels. The color is practically identical to the 2013 while the bouquet is fantastic with its aromas of ginger, candied citrus, truffle and sweet tobacco. The mouthfeel is not as slender as the 2013 but is a bit fuller and while the finish is bold the alcohol is kept in check with very persistent balsamic sensations and notes of sweet tobacco.
