Disgorged 2006. A golden-yellow color with amber reflections. The bouquet is very intense, full, with notes of tobacco, dried leaves, yellow flowers, an amazingly intense ‘grandma’s drawer’ scent and one of Cognac. The attack of the mouthfeel is very rich with exceptional extracts and notes of fern and dried leaves followed by a harmonious finish. The effervescence is unable to ‘dilute’ the extracts. A bubbly that is more big than grand, an excessive wine which those is search of finesse will not like. A wine to pair with stewed game.
