This Malvasia di Candia made from grapes cultivated in a soil of sandstone origin was a pleasant surprise. It fermented in stainless steel vats and sat on the lees for some five months. The wine has an interesting aroma of fruit and aromatic herbs with a clear sensation of moss and wild fennel. The mouthfeel has unexpected structure and an incisive personality. Annual production: 15,000 bottles.
