L'inattesa malvasia

Quadrigato is the name of a Roman silver coin from the 3rd century BCE and it is also the name used by the Terrenovae estate for the line of its select wines from 12 hectares of vineyards – out of a total of 50 – spread out in the townships of Guardia Sanframondi, Torrecuso and Venticano. The combination of the makeup of the soil and the microclimate, together with a strong winemaking vocation, has resulted in a line of wines produced from Falanghina, Malvasia di Candia, Fiano, Aglianico, Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot grapes.
