A Cerasuolo rosé with an intense cherry-red color, something rare among today’s anemic pink wines. In reality the color is the result of an ancient winemaking process called ‘svacata’ which involves letting some of the Montepulciano grapes macerate for four-five days and then adding the must produced to the other grapes that have been fermenting off the skins. In this case, however, it has been subject to a modern interpretation and produces a floral aroma with notes of raspberry and red currant. The mouthfeel is fresh, very tasty, persistent and easy to drink. A joyful wine.
