Made from 100% Garganega grapes, this is a DOCG Classico Superiore. The aroma is very similar to the Monte de Toni, which in a way is its younger brother. Again there are mineral and fruity notes that chase each other and alternately dominate the bouquet. The mouthfeel, on the other hand, is different in that Monte di Fice is more balanced, less gritty, almost ‘feminine’ with its delicate harmony. It will improve with age but right now it has less character and the finish, for the moment, has only a nice persistence.
