We reviewed this wine about a year and here found it had improved even further. It is the most important wine the estate makes both for the number of bottles produced (some 60,000) and for the fact it has been consistently good for years. The hot year brought out the wine’s Mediterranean characteristics with notes of ripe fruit and spice together with a distinct mineral vein. The mouthfeel is lively with delicate and sweet tannins and a depth that is out of the ordinary. While it is still young it is clear it has a promising future.
