Lugarara 2009

Made from Cortese grapes, this is a delicious, well-balanced and easy-to-drink Gavi that is at the same time elegant, silky and aristocratic. It has a pale straw yellow colour and delicate scents of white peaches, fresh almonds, gentian and medlars. Its flavour is delicate and very slightly saline, but also fine, sedate and rounded, with an excellent if restrained finish. Serve it at 10°C, pairing it with shellfish salads, fried octopus or steamed sea-bass.
