Made from Moscato di Canelli grapes that have in part been dried on racks and in part were picked late after they have attracted noble rot. The wine is fermented and aged in barriques and has a lively, golden color. The bouquet is a masterpiece of finesse with scents of moss, sage and candied apricot along with a Mediterranean note of orange blossom. Although the attack of the mouthfeel is sweet, the finish is almost dry without any imperfections. All this in a framework of extreme finesse. Drink this when and how you so desire.
20 euros (0.375l bottle) and well worth it.
