Lauro 2015

Made from Verdicchio grapes, the wine mostly ages in stainless steel vats with a small part kept in large barrels. The color is a medium, straw-yellow with green reflections and after an initially closed attack the aroma opens to alternating notes of apricot, linden and mustard flower. The rich mouthfeel has an acidity that upholds it from start to finish while the flavor is consistent with the aroma and notes of apricot and bitter almonds alternate continually through the deep finish. One of the best Castelli di Jesi wines of 2015.
