A 100% Sangiovese wine fermented in stainless steel and aged for 12 months in tonneau barrels and French-oak barriques (40% new) and at least 12 months in the bottle.  The color is a nice ruby and the bouquet is intense, clean and of great quality with an insistent floral note of rose and lily of the valley together with a scent of ripe cherry. The mouthfeel is not muscular but has an excellent elegance which makes it easy to drink. The tannins are harmonious and the acidity while almost hidden is effective and not isolated. The finish is always more intense than one would expect. Very good.
