Ballu Tundu Riserva 2010

From a vineyard in Garaunele that is over 100 years old and at an altitude of 650 meters, this wine (3,000 bottles) is the estate most traditional product. Aged in 40-hectoliter barrels, it has a bold and wrapping bouquet of ripe fruit and spice. The flavor is as powerful as it is spicy but with an admirable balance and very fine tannins. The finish is pervasive and marked by an amazing peppery note. It should hit the markets in a few months and is sure to have a great future.
