Made only from Sangiovese and matured for around 20 months in barriques. A very intense, ruby-garnet color and a bouquet with smoky notes and those of damp earth followed by scents from aging and ripe, red fruit. The mouthfeel is warm and saline, a tad tannic and edgy but with an excellent body and a long finish.
