Made only from Sangiovese and matured for around 20 months in barriques. An emblematic vintage to let age long. The color is a very intense ruby-garnet and the aromas are detailed with fruity notes up front although there are also notes from bottle aging, mostly underbrush. The mouthfeel, on the other hand, is youthful with tannins that are still tight but not drying while the body has an excellent weight. A great wine.
