Made only from Sangiovese and matured for around 18 months in barriques. The color is an intense ruby-garnet while the aroma is more austere than fruity with notes of underbrush, blood orange, kirsch and light and sweet spices. The mouthfeel is almost contorted with slightly edgy tannins and excellent body and texture.
