Made only from Sangiovese and matured for around 18 months in barriques. An intense garnet color and a bouquet defined by bottle aging with its scents of leather, tobacco and damp earth up front with floral sensations in the background. The mouthfeel is more evolved and less bold, dominated by the acidity and tannins that are still a bit edgy.
