Made only from Sangiovese and matured for around 18 months in barriques. One of the best vintages ever with its intense garnet color still boasting ruby reflections. The aromas are surprisingly young with notes of black cherry and currant, sweet spice and hints of underbrush. The mouthfeel is still taut, composed and very balanced with velvety tannins and excellent body. A great wine.
