A jewel, one of the best of its kind. The color is a deep, integral red with a fascinating and timeless garnet edge. Its integrity is expressed in full in its aroma, ample, very fine, multifaceted, with an exemplary macerated violet, a light sprinkling of spice, a fruit with surprising integrity, a touch of sweet tobacco. The flavor, though upheld by a noticeable acidity, is velvety, rewarding and of an extra fine drinkability. The finish is long, with a light retro-nasal return of sour cherry. Drinking it you ask yourself where else can you drink such a superb DR0P made by such an inspired hand and from such a compliant land. An excellent start.
