A blend of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes, the wine has an intriguing aroma of ash and black cherry with smoked and spicy whiffs, notes of nutmeg and red fruits. The mouthfeel is ‘volcanic’, tasty and ash-like, enriched by spices and notes of Mediterranean underbrush. Nicely dynamic, the close is brackish.
