Bucerchiale 2004

A great, classic Rufina that never disappoints and has a long life span. The latter vintages are even better thanks to aging longer in the bottle at the winery. This Riserva 2004 is really good. The aroma jumps between white flowers and red flowers with a very pleasing scent that recalls a stroll through a bee farm. A balsamic streak is quite intriguing and fresh and balances the ripe cherry and mulberry. The tannins are nice and compact and the progression is excellent, while the finish has great persistence.
