Angelorum 2009

Winter snow and spring rains allowed for a regular growing season while a warm summer ensured the right ripeness of the grapes and the drop in temperatures in September, with good variations between day and night, set the stage for a good year. The aroma is more ‘masculine’ with its notes of graphite and rock but there are also floral scents of violet and the classic fruit component. The mouthfeel is almost chewy, the tannins are still slightly spirited and need to be tamed. Very sweet (81.8g/l sugar content), this is a deep wine but one that is still too young. Alcoholic content: 14%.
