Marsicani, Dop from Cilento Extravirgin Olive Oil
Nicolangelo Marsicani, the passionate interpreter of a complex land to be enhanced, Cilento, wins the award for The Frontier Farm in the Flos Olei 2017 guide to Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
He carries on the activity started by his family in 1928, with dedication and competence. The specialized olive grove covers 30 hectares with 5,500 trees. In the last harvest 500 quintals of olives were produced, equal to a yield of 60 hectoliters of oil.
There are two Extra Virgin Marsicani Pdo Cilento, the very good Monocultivar Pisciottana and the excellent "basic", which we present.
