Borgo del Melograno Organic Oil
Blend of Correggiolo and Leccino for this extravirgin olive oil by Borgo del Melograno produced in Valconca, on the hills not far from Rimini.
This beautiful farm, run by Monica, Valerio Sapucci and their family, is placed on the hills of Valconca, near the coastal towns of Rimini, Riccione and Cattolica, not far from the Adriatic Sea.
The late 19th-century farmhouse is located in a typical ancient village and overlooks a large terraced garden. The olive grove surrounding it covers 15 hectares with 2,500 mainly century-old trees. In the last harvest about 55 quintals of olives and little more than 7 hectolitres of oil were produced.
