A modern farm in Marche region
Another brilliant result for Il Conventino di Monteciccardo, which is steadily improving the quality of its products. A few years ago the family Marcantoni founded one of the best modern farms in Marche, producing both wine and olive oil. Today 20 hectares of the estate are destined to olive grove with 7,800 trees. In the last harvest 500 quintals of olives were produced and 700 purchased, which, once crushed in the modern oil mill, yielded 100 hectoliters of oil. Ascolana Tenera, Picholine, Raggiola and Leccino are the cultivated olive varieties.
