100% Coratina

Situated on the gentle slope of Murgia that descends from Castel del Monte, the estate covers 150 hectares of olive grove with 31,000 partly century-old, partly young trees. In the last harvest 7,000 quintals of olives were produced and 5,000 purchased, with a yield of about 1,769 hectoliters of oil.

There are three very good extra virgin selections, La Patràun and the two Pdo Terra di Bari - Castel del Monte, Io Voglio and the extraordinary Don Gioacchino. Congratulations to the family Leone, who have proposed this excellent extra virgin olive oil that, in the cathegory Pdo/Pgi - Medium Fruity, has been awarded as the best for the Flos Olei 2017 guide.
