Colline Teramane is a DOCG appellation in the Abruzzo region where Montepulciano fulfills its vocation. An example of this is Opi, the Montepulciano reserve of the Farnese group. Today a repositioning of their brand has led to the adoption of the name Fantini for the group’s wines. The estate is in Ortona where the Farnese group acquired and restored the 15th century Castello Caldora to use as its headquarters and cellars.
