Every time I run across this I cannot help but taste it because I have become fond of its fierce and infallible allure. I always have a couple of bottles in my cellar because with aging it becomes amazing having lost some of its youthful tartness. Its centuries old roots are high up on Mt. Etna, at an altitude of around 1,000m above sea level, from where it can absorb views of grueling and violent beauty.
