Return to the future… 1991

Cantina di Terlano continually produces surprising and convincing pearls and this wine is no exception. In fact, it sets the bar for its quality and complexity.
This Terlaner - a cuvée made from Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Sauvignon– has been produced in this area for over a century. Although 1991 was certainly not extraordinary year, in Terlano, and thanks to the legendary Kellermeister Sebastian Stoker, it achieved a stratification and tension that was simply extraordinary. A quarter of a century had to pass before Rudi Kofler, the current kellermeister, decided to bottle this vintage but it was well-worth waiting for.
