Passatempo from Conti degli Azzoni
A Marche Montepulciano from the great estate of the three degli Azzoni brothers that is intense and vigorous and describes its land.
Montefano, the name a reference to a deity of harvest Fanum, is a town a few kilometers from Recanti and hosts the beating heart of the Conti degli Azzoni estate owned by brothers Aldobrando, Filippo and Valperto degli Azzoni. The estate has a total of 850 hectares of land, all cultivated, of which 130 hectares are vineyards many of which are organic.
The aim of the three brothers is to allow the wines they produce to express the values and potential of the Marche region. In order to do this they have made significant investments in recent years both in the land and in the winery and this to become more environmentally sustainable and to strike a perfect balance between the need to have the utmost respect for the grapes and employ more modern technology.
