Made from Montepulciano grapes from an almost 50-year-old vineyard and matured for 18 months in stainless steel. The wine has an intense, ruby-red color with garnet reflections while the bouquet is full and complex with notes of fruit and tobacco. The mouthfeel is intense, harmonious and vigorous with soft tannins and a pleasing aftertaste of red fruit and spice.
Fantastic with grilled mushrooms.
