Limited edition

Poderi dal Nespoli is an important estate that since 1929 has represented a fine example of winemaking in Valle del Bidente. This is a particular area given that characteristics of the valley allow it to enjoy constant and beneficial breezes that keep the vineyards dry. The estate is currently headed by Fabio Ravaioli who, while respecting local traditions, has adopted modern entrepreneurial models with an eye on the future.

Despite the difficult 2014 harvest, the estate decided to celebrate the 60th anniversary of a special gift maternal Aunt Elodia gave the Ravaioli brothers, the Podere Prugneto farm, with a special and limited edition of Sangiovese Superiore Prugneto.

The wine is the product of a drastic selection of the best grapes from the old vines that have existed at the farm since the beginning of the 20th century and which produced 8,658 numbered bottles, all with a re-edition of the estate’s first historic label.
