From a tiny winery
His vineyards are small strips of land near mountain tops in Val d'Aosta between 900 and 1,200 meters above sea level and his tiny winery is as well-kept as a living room. All this makes Ermes Pavese and his family the epitome of mountain winemakers.
His leading wine is Nathan, a white made from Prié Blanc grapes grown on 60-year-old vines and fermented in barrique.
