Un ruspante viadenese

I have often written about this winemaker from the area of Viadanese, near Mantua, and his great skill in lifting a little known grape variety, Lambrusco Viadanese, to levels unthinkable only a few years ago. This is an ancient, native variety that only recently gained the limelight because it is a part of a very rare Lambrusco subtype.

We have already described his classic Lambrusco wines Boschetto and Sabbionetano and today present this authentic gem made using the ‘ancestral’ method of secondary fermentation in the bottle.
