The five years since its production have allowed this wine to become gentle and gourmand as few others can be. It has an intense and intact red color with an exuberant effervescence. The wine needs to breathe at length before tasting, slightly chilled, because like all wines that undergo secondary fermentation in the bottle there are distinct scents from reduction when it is opened. When ready, it has a broad aroma with notes of rose, red fruit and raspberry jam and a pronounced grapey sensation. The mouthfeel is creamy and rich with an acidity that will deliciously clean your taste buds while the body could best be described as buxom.
