The Barolo Riserva 2010 Marchesi di Barolo

A Barolo Riserva with an almost hypnotizing lavishness and freshness, thanks to the centuries old skill of Marchesi di Barolo.
The Marchesi di Barolo winery needs not presentation because it was here that, in 1891, modern Barolo was born. Using the wealth of their own vineyards as well as those of trusted suppliers, year after year they have been sending to market some 1.5 million bottles of wine (including Barbera, Barbaresco and so on). They have many different and historically prestigious cru, as well as those from the town of Barolo, and a Barolo Riserva that we tasted and offer a review of here.
We are well aware that vineyards alone are not enough and that you need serious people who know how to bring out the best from the grapes without betraying the fruit and they can be found at Marchesi di Barolo.
