Made from Sangiovese grapes from the Gugliate vineyard. It has an intense and very bright ruby-red color. Its bouquet is emblematic and varied, scents of violets, black cherry, a touch of raspberry, delicate hints of tobacco and no trace of vanilla nor wood. The taste is delicious, agile, well upheld by a very brackish 'chiantiesque' acidity, with a strong yet elegant character, a little like Zac must have been like, obviously. It has a subtle finish but one which is dominated by a long aromatic persistence.
