Very few bottles were produced of this wine made from very ripe Aglianico grapes that has an unreal intense and dark red color. The aroma has distinct notes of red-fruit jam, dried prunes and spice, noticeably turmeric and curry, which spread out over those of black cherry syrup. The wine is textbook example of what can be brought out from this varietal in regard to sensorial greatness. An amazing and original wine that is my favorite when it comes to richness and the joy of drinking even if it is conceptually not a simple drop. The mouthfeel is extreme, a bit like an Amarone, with a boldness that is almost aggressive. Very few people have this in their cellar and even fewer have been lucky enough to have enjoyed it.
