Made with only Aglianico grapes, this wine has an almost black color that only aging has allowed it to have a ray of luminosity. The bouquet is also original, an identifying trait of the winemaking artistry of De Conciliis who has produced an Aglianico that it hard to categorize. There are even aromas of ginger along with those of sweet spice, bergamot, bark and resin. The rich mouthfeel has great consistency and substance and is full of energy and boldness as a great Aglianico should be.
