Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2012

A blend of 90% Sangiovese Prugnolo, 5% Colorino and 5% Mammolo. The wine ages in tonneaux and small, French oak barrels. It is a classic wine for the area with its intact ruby color and bouquet with clear notes of red fruit and a slightly floral aroma. The mouthfeel is decidedly austere, above all in regard to the tannins that are still unquestionably young. This is a classic ‘gastronomic’ wine with all the exuberance of youth.
