Made with grapes from an over-50-year-old vineyard, this has a bold, yellow color and a slight effervescence. The aroma has a surprising balsamic impact and notes of lemon verbena as well as suffused citrus sensations and an almost poetic balance between the sweetness and acidity. The mouthfeel is soft, elegant and overflowing and all this makes this an absolutely surprising and terrific wine. While most Moscato d’Asti is consumed young, this wine is an example of how it can age. Phenomenal. Alessandro Boida has made a masterpiece.
