Even if the amaranth hue remains intact, the slightly more meaty flavor suggests this is presumably the first wine tasted at the right age. However, a nuance of reduction comes and goes and enhances the mineral component, while covering the floral one slightly. According to Raffaele this is just a passing phase. Aside from this, the rest is in line with the younger vintages.
